Over the years, 45 domestic and foreign patents have been obtained, and the patent regions include Taiwan (42%), China (30%), the United States (21%), Japan (5%), and the European Union (2%). Types of patents include inventions (56%), new models (35%) and new styles (9%), among which inventions are the most common.

Certificates:
The safety requirement of medical devices is stricter than general industrial instruments. In order to match the special regulations of safety and function for medical devices, KAIWOOD has passed the assessment to be a QMS factory by the department of health of Taiwan government in Taiwan. Besides the QMS certification, KAIWOOD has been also awarded the certifications of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CE, FCC, and FDA to guarantee the product's qualities to match the international standards of the product life-cycle management from the various stages of developing, manufacturing, using, and retrieving processes.
